Monkey love

Hailey is in love with monkeys. She has decided that she wants to use monkeys for Trevor. Anything monkey she loves and wants to get. It's cute - so our new blog background is dedicated to Hailey and her love for monkeys.

On Sunday we had some crazy weather around our parts. We were at church when the worst of it hit. Lightning, thunder, rain, hail, total craziness. When we got home, this is what we found:

The kids had a blast playing in it and throwing it at the dog; who absolutely loved it. It was quite cute.

33 weeks today! Woo Hoo!

Taking a tour of the hospital on Monday night. Getting excited for that. This will be the first time at this hospital. I have heard good things but the rooms for after delivery (recovery rooms??) are shared. I am a little spoiled from our other hospital where I had private rooms so I am not looking forward to sharing a room.

I need to find a new pediatrician. We switched insurance companies a year ago and picked a dr. for the kids. She has been ok but the other day I realized that she would be the one to come to the hospital to check out Trevor and all of the sudden I realized I wasn't THAT comfortable with her. I asked my OB for some recommendations. He gave me 3 but I am not sure how to go about finding out about them and deciding if I am ok with them. Any ideas on how to find new doctors?

Can I just say that being a work mom is really hard sometimes? Add homeschooling to the mix and it gets really, really hard sometimes. Sigh. One day at a time.

Mothers Day was ok. We had a good morning and then went to my dad's for dinner. He did a great job cooking a yummy dinner. I did good all day until my dad asked me if I wanted to go through my mom's jewelry. I went to the closet and didn't know what to do. I just stared at it and started crying. I ended up packing it all up and bringing it home. Some day I will be ready to go through it all. I am going to have to hide it though - the girls keep trying to get into it. It is like a treasure box of goodies to them =)

Dr. Benjamin Valdez with Professional Pediatrics is amazing!! Even his PA is wonderful! Their office is right over off Gibson Drive by the new Hyatt hotel.
