Time is a funny thing

About a week ago I realized that I still had 5 months until this baby is born. 5 whole months. Holy Cow - I'm going to be pregnant forever! Everybody else's pregnancies seem to be going so much faster than mine.

Then today we got the devastating news that the dr. isn't sure if my mom will still be here to meet this baby.

And all of the sudden 5 months seems like nothing. Seems like a blink of an eye.

And, honestly, I just don't know how to handle that.
